Blues NewsU16's in Shield FinalAnother final appearance for our underage boys. This time at U16 Div 3 11-aside Shield Championship level. The boys have been performing well in the league and but for time running out could and should have been challenging for the top spot. Despite this they have made their way to the shield final and hopefully will do themselves proud and give the performance they are capable off to win. U14's Win Div2 13-aside LeagueDespite the defeat away to Ballymacnab last week the U14 boys were crowned U14 Southern Div 2 13-aside winners having Played 11, Won 10, Drawn 0, Lost 1 - Total 20 points. They now go on to the All-County league semi finals against the runners up in the Northern Section. The U14 Cup was presented to Captain Fergal Traynor and Vice-Captain Gavin McVerry. A marvelous year to date and the boys can now look forward to a Shield final and an All-County league semi final over the next few weeks. U12's Win Div2 13-aside LeagueCulloville 3-9 Granemore 1-2 What a difference in performance from the last time these two teams met. That day Culloville played like a tired team and lost in the championship encounter. Not so this time! This time the Culloville boys played with hunger, desire, enthusiasim, belief and togetherness.
